Check the world before judging a pickup
The Fun Pimps' V3.0 announcement introduces Item Magnitude for weapon and gear scaling, plus optional repair and degradation settings. A recommendation based on an older item system may not describe your present pickup. Read its actual condition and effects before replacing useful equipment.
Loot for a specific shortage
Choose whether the trip is for recovery supplies, a crafting requirement or equipment. Keep that purpose in mind when space fills. Another heavy object is not useful simply because it can be collected.
Compare what is usable now
Check whether the item can be used with the ammunition, tools or materials you have. A powerful-looking pickup can remain an unfinished project if an essential requirement is missing. Preserve the equipment that keeps the current route manageable.
Return before the inventory becomes a trap
When you obtain the material the trip was meant to find, compare banking it with entering another unknown building. Avoid spending so long sorting in an exposed area that the loot creates more danger than value.
Review the relevant setting after a surprise
If repairs or item loss behave differently from another guide, inspect the world options and version before assuming a bug. This page does not claim a permanent loot-table percentage, guaranteed container spawn or one optimal item ranking across every preset.
