Identify the event type
Read what action earns progress before using rolls or event currency. An event bar, a Partners wheel and a Racers round need different decisions. Check the active instructions instead of assuming a reward table from the previous event describes this one.
Collect currency through documented activities
The official Partners guide lists board pickups, Quick Wins and milestone rewards as possible sources of Partner Currency. Check which sources your live event offers and claim completed objectives before spending extra rolls just to search for another pickup.
Agree on a partner plan
Choose partners whose intended participation matches your own. Communicate the time remaining and the stage the group wants to reach. Do not assume a high visible contribution means the other person can continue indefinitely or that spending more guarantees completion.
Keep round rules separate
The official Racers guide describes lap rewards that can be left unopened between rounds but must be claimed before the event ends. Match advice to the actual event: that is not a universal promise that every unused token or unclaimed reward carries forward.
Reassess at the next milestone
Compare the remaining time, currency and contribution needed with the reward you can realistically reach. A smaller completed goal can be more useful than exhausting your rolls on an uncertain final stage. This page explains planning and does not present an expired event schedule as current.
