Rearrange before removing anything
The official attaché case instructions allow moving and rotating items. Try a compact arrangement when a new pickup does not fit. A different orientation may solve the problem without sacrificing an item you still need.
Use storage for eligible equipment
Capcom lists weapons, parts and first aid sprays among items handled through typewriter Storage. Stash bulky equipment you are not using and retrieve it at a typewriter when the plan changes. Do not assume all ammunition, materials and recovery items are eligible simply because some items can be stored.
Treat Discard as permanent
The manual warns that discarded items cannot be picked up again. Check whether rearranging, crafting or sending an eligible item to Storage solves the issue first. Do not discard a useful weapon because you expect to return to it on the ground later.
Craft for the current need
Open the crafting choices and read the required materials before converting them. Think about the weapon you will actually use next rather than making ammunition simply because a recipe is available. A crafting decision trades flexible materials for a specific result.
Review cases and charms at a typewriter
Capcom places case and charm customization at typewriters and allows up to three charms. Check the effects you have available instead of following a supposed guaranteed charm-roll trick. These instructions concern the remake; controls vary by selected platform and control type.
