# Gears of War: E-Day Skins, Editions and Unlocks ## Character Skins and Abilities E-Day includes character customization. A character skin changes the player's appearance but does not automatically provide unique Tactical Gear or class abilities. Horde Siege combat abilities depend on the selected class. This distinction is important when comparing character skins with class equipment. ## Marcus Fenix ### Death's Rendezvous Marcus Fenix Rarity: Legendary Acquisition: Gears of War: E-Day Premium Edition or qualifying Premium Edition Upgrade. This skin is included in the Emergence Customization Pack. Check edition eligibility before purchasing. ## Dominic Santiago ### Exfil Dom Rarity: Legendary Acquisition: Qualifying Gears of War: E-Day preorder. The skin is inspired by Special Tactics Group equipment. Players should confirm platform-specific preorder eligibility and redemption requirements. ## Tai Kaliso ### Bloodied Hunter Tai Kaliso Rarity: Epic Acquisition: Premium Edition customization content. Availability depends on the eligible edition or upgrade. ## Mags Carter ### Blast Damage Mags Rarity: Epic Acquisition: Reach Player Level 20 during the multiplayer Open Beta. This was a historical beta reward. Do not assume it remains obtainable through the same challenge after the beta has ended. ## Horde Siege Classes E-Day includes four Horde Siege classes: - Assault - Breacher - Marksman - Medic Each class provides its own Tactical Gear and passive bonus. Selecting Marcus Fenix, Dom or another character skin does not automatically change those class abilities. ## Customization Categories The official multiplayer overview describes multiple customization systems, including: - Character skins - Weapon skins - Player banners - Poses - Medals - Player titles - Other profile cosmetics Some items require specific achievements, editions or events. ## Player Progression Player XP contributes to progression. Additional systems include: - Player Levels - Re-Ups - Class Levels - Weekly Challenges - Seasonal Challenges - Medals - Event Challenges Different systems provide different rewards. ## Coins Coins can be earned through eligible gameplay activities. They can be spent on qualifying customization items in the Barracks. Some rewards must first be unlocked through their associated requirements. ## Iron Iron is the premium currency used for eligible customization purchases. Not every cosmetic item is necessarily purchasable with Coins. Check the current item listing for its actual acquisition method. ## Seasonal Rewards Seasonal challenges can award customization content. Availability may change when events or seasons end. Always check current in-game reward descriptions. ## How to Check Skin Availability 1. Open the Barracks or customization menu. 2. Select the desired character. 3. Find the skin. 4. Check rarity. 5. Review acquisition requirements. 6. Confirm edition or event restrictions. 7. Check whether the reward is currently obtainable. Historical event rewards should not be advertised as permanently available without confirmation. ## Artwork and Source Credits Character artwork should be matched to the correct character or skin variant. Original image sources and reuse permissions should be documented.
