Shade
Campaign protagonist · Human racer
Human cargo pilot from Gathleon who joins the Galactic League to challenge Kestar Bool. Grew up under Bool-family rule, suffered injuries after a clash with Kestar, and received the helmet used to treat them. After the Empire fell, returned to cargo work with Hibi before Darius Pax offered a racing opportunity.

League champion and rival · Caskadag racer
Youngest son of Kedron Bool and reigning Galactic League champion. His family's resources helped the League expand, while his desire for public admiration and his father's approval drives his rivalry with Shade. Official biography describes underhanded methods; this story role does not establish a player-usable cheat or unique ability.

Hibi Esuufa
Mechanic and ally · Ardennian engineer
Ardennian engineer and Shade's friend. Learned to dismantle and improve machines while growing up with a mechanic father, then joined Shade's crew. In the League she supports vehicle building and experimentation; Hibi's workshop fits parts earned through runs or bought from her.

Veteran Dug podracer returning to the Galactic League years after the Boonta Eve Classic. Official launch coverage describes his support for Shade as dependent on earning his respect. The game features his iconic podracer; exact scenario unlocks and playable-character restrictions are not established by this biography.
Darius Pax
Galactic League founder · Besalisk organizer
Besalisk racing enthusiast and former Hutt mechanic who founded the Galactic League after the Empire's fall. Kestar Bool's wealth helped grow the competition but increased his influence over it. Pax wants to remove that corruption and restore a league centred on racing.
Another officially confirmed racer
Lucasfilm's gameplay-trailer coverage also identifies the returning Toong podracer Ben Quadinaros. This confirms an appearance; it does not establish every playable mode or his exact unlock requirement.
Voices and music
The publisher's Sounds of the Galactic League series credits Lucy Montgomery as Hibi, Andrew James Spooner as Darius Pax, and Kris Laudrum as Kestar Bool. The soundtrack series features composer Gordy Haab and Music & Narrative Director Nathaniel Daw.
Character roles versus vehicle powers
These are racers, an engineer and a league organizer, not a fighting-game roster. Drift, Kinetic Burst and Knife Edge are described by vehicle class. A character biography is not evidence for an exclusive combat skill, passive bonus or ultimate attack.

- Shade: players associate him with the Ramjet Rider style and Vent. Treat this as a likely multiplayer/style association, not a fixed loadout for every campaign run.
- Kestar Bool: players repeatedly describe an offensive setup and report Ion Bolt use. His complete starting abilities, passives and unlock requirements are not established here.
We have not established character-specific racing powers for Hibi or Darius. Their story roles alone do not prove a playable racer loadout.
