Primary weapons and Phantom Edges
S-GAME's August State of Play article specifies more than 30 main weapons and 25 secondary weapons called Phantom Edges. Steam uses the broader description of more than 20 Phantom Edges; the specific 25-item statement comes from S-GAME's own developer article. These counts describe the announced arsenal, not a complete published list of weapon names or every move.
Build a combat approach
The publisher names combinations, dodges, deflections and counters as parts of the combat flow. Weapons can be upgraded and paired with accessories. S-GAME also describes ranged approaches and summons. That gives you several ways to shape a build, but it does not establish a universal best weapon or the damage of an undisclosed technique.
How reforging helps experimentation
S-GAME says you can reforge an upgraded weapon, recover its materials and invest them in another. The practical implication is that an early upgrade choice need not permanently lock your build. Before spending or recovering materials, read the in-game confirmation for the exact item and quantities involved; the preview does not provide a universal cost table.
Unlocks from enemies and exploration
Defeating certain enemies expands your equipment options. Hidden passages and mechanisms are also part of the announced world. Revisit a route when you learn a new system, and compare an unfamiliar weapon's intended role with your current setup before replacing everything at once.
A focused practice routine
- Learn a basic sequence with one primary weapon.
- Practice recognizing when to evade and when to attempt a deflection.
- Add one Phantom Edge that complements your preferred range.
- Test one accessory or upgrade change at a time.
- Use reforging when you want to try another weapon, after checking its confirmation screen.
This is GetCheatBeacon's learning plan. Exact animation timing, enemy-specific counters and final default button bindings are not inferred from cinematic footage or the old demo diagram.
