Check the mode first
In Classic Among Us, completing the crew task bar is one route to victory. Innersloth separately describes Hide n Seek tasks as shortening the survival timer. Build your route for the actual mode; meeting-based deduction advice does not transfer unchanged to Hide n Seek.
Group nearby work
Read your task list and identify work in the same part of the map. Choose a short route through that group before crossing to a distant task. If an interruption forces a detour, check the list again instead of walking back automatically to the last room.
Keep useful observations
Remember who entered or left the area and the order in which you saw them. A route can explain where you were without proving anyone else innocent. During a meeting, distinguish an actual sighting from an assumption about where a player must have gone.
Respond to sabotage deliberately
Innersloth identifies responding to sabotage as part of crew play. Check the actual emergency and where help is needed rather than continuing a route simply because it was efficient before the interruption. Afterward, resume from nearby unfinished work.
Avoid turning efficiency into a false accusation
Players can take unusual routes because of unfinished tasks, confusion or an interruption. Ask what someone saw and did before declaring that their path proves an impostor. Your own route is most useful when you can describe it briefly and accurately.
