Helldivers 2 is a cooperative mission game, not simply a shooter where every enemy must be eliminated. Successful squads complete objectives, manage Stratagem cooldowns, recover Samples and reach extraction without wasting the shared reinforcement supply.

Read the Mission Before Dropping

Before launching, check:

• Main objective.
• Enemy faction.
• Planet conditions.
• Squad loadouts.

Your equipment should match the mission instead of using the same four Stratagems everywhere.

Stratagem Categories

PlayStation’s current guide groups Stratagems into categories including:

Balance the Squad

Use Cover and Positioning

Extraction

Finishing the main objective is not the same thing as safely extracting the squad and collected Samples.

Before calling extraction:
