Spider-Man 2 Exploration: Borough Routes, Web Wings & Hero Activities
Pick a district or nearby activity chain before crossing the city. A focused route makes it easier to follow discoveries and earn progress without constantly abandoning the destination for another icon.
Use the new boroughs differently
PlayStation's overview identifies Brooklyn and Queens as additions to the map. Their spaces do not always offer Manhattan's same tall-building rhythm, so inspect the route before assuming one swinging pattern suits every street.
Connect traversal tools
The official guide describes building height and speed through swinging, then using Web Wings, wind tunnels and slingshots. Practice the transition on a familiar route before taking a long shortcut. Plan where to regain height as well as where to start gliding.
Check which hero the activity uses
Some story sections require Peter or Miles, while other activities allow a choice. Read the activity's current prompt before treating an unavailable interaction as a map error. Keep each hero's available abilities in mind when choosing the next task.
Make one district the session goal
- Select the activity you want to pursue.
- Choose a route that passes a useful nearby discovery.
- Finish that small group before crossing to another borough.
- Review the rewards and any requirements for the next stage.
Leave a useful return note
If an activity is unavailable, record what the game says rather than assuming it is permanently missed. Recheck after the next relevant story or ability unlock. Do not use a full endgame map as proof that every activity must be available in your current chapter.
