Weaken before committing the Sphere

Pocketpair describes using Pal Spheres to capture weakened creatures. Watch the target while applying damage so you do not defeat the creature you intended to recruit. Choose a target you can manage before spending supplies on repeated failed attempts.

Prepare more than the throw

Check your health, available equipment and the route away from the encounter. A capture attempt can become dangerous if you concentrate on the target while ignoring the surroundings. Make room to recover or retreat before committing everything to one creature.

Use the information your game shows

Read the Sphere and target information available in your version. Compare the apparent difficulty with the resources you are prepared to spend. This guide does not invent an exact capture formula, a guaranteed low-health threshold or a universal success percentage.

Check whether world rules differ

Pocketpair documents a server capture-rate setting. A result on one server is therefore not a reliable promise of identical odds on another. Ask the host about relevant rules when a video or another player's experience differs markedly from yours.

Give the new Pal a purpose

The publisher describes Pals contributing both combat skills and base work. Examine what the captured Pal offers before assuming only rarity or appearance matters. Build a useful team around jobs you need rather than risking the entire trip for a collection goal you have not prepared to attempt.
