Royal Match Booster Guide: Hammer, Arrow, Cannon & Jester Hat
Separate Boosters from Match-Created Power-Ups
Dream Games distinguishes pre-level boosters from tools used during a board. A pre-level Rocket, TNT or Light Ball starts the board with that effect placed randomly. That is different from deliberately creating a power-up through a match at a chosen part of the board.
In-game tool reference
| Booster | Official effect |
|---|---|
| Royal Hammer | Clears one tile or removes one layer from a game element. |
| Arrow | Clears the selected row and removes one layer from game elements. |
| Cannon | Clears the selected column and removes one layer from game elements. |
| Jester Hat | Shuffles the board's tiles. |
The official support article says these in-game uses do not decrease the move count. That does not mean the booster supply is unlimited, or that one use removes every layer of an obstacle.
Choose the smallest effect that solves the problem
GetCheatBeacon's recommendation is to identify the target before selecting a tool. One isolated tile suggests a different question from a full obstructed column. A shuffle changes available arrangements; it does not promise the exact combination you have in mind.
Before the final use
- Check every remaining target, not just the most visible one.
- Read whether you need to remove another layer afterward.
- Confirm the selected row, column or tile.
- Reassess once the effect and falling pieces finish.
A tool can rescue a specific position without making it a good default for every attempt. Avoid using another booster merely because the previous one did not finish the level. Work out whether the board now needs a different action.
Use the combination guide for effects created through matches, and move planning to compare them with ordinary swaps.
