Separate weapon rank from account progress
Digital Extremes explains that leveling equipment contributes Mastery toward player progression. A weapon rank and your account Mastery Rank are related but different. Decide whether the current goal is learning a weapon, improving its setup or earning progress from equipment you have not ranked before.
Do not repeat an item for duplicate Mastery
The official support article says an item counts toward Mastery once: polarization resets and another identical copy do not award the same progression again. Releveling can serve an equipment plan, but it is not a method for repeatedly earning the original Mastery reward.
Choose a mission the loadout can handle
Check the enemy information and your actual capacity to contribute before entering with unfamiliar equipment. Keep the group objective achievable rather than making every slot unusable for the sake of a theoretical leveling shortcut.
Inspect mods rather than rank alone
Use your available mod setup to make the weapon practical in the mission you selected. If damage is poor, examine the loadout and enemy situation instead of assuming a higher weapon rank automatically answers every performance problem.
Review what the run accomplished
Check the equipment progress and whether the mission was completed consistently. Select the next unranked item deliberately when account progress is the goal. This guide does not claim one permanent fastest node, invent an Affinity split formula or treat buying a booster as required.
