Dead by Daylight Bloodweb, Prestige & Perk Unlock Guide
Unlock Dead by Daylight perks through Bloodweb and Prestige
If a build uses a perk you cannot equip, first check how that perk is unlocked. Character levels, Prestige levels and perk tiers are separate parts of progression.
What Prestige 1, 2 and 3 unlock
Behaviour’s Prestige guidance says a character can Prestige after reaching level 50. The first three Prestige levels unlock that character’s unique perks at the corresponding tier across the same role: Survivor perks for Survivors and Killer perks for Killers.
- Prestige 1: Tier 1 becomes available across that role. Higher tiers can appear in individual Bloodwebs.
- Prestige 2: Tier 2 is unlocked across that role.
- Prestige 3: Tier 3 is unlocked across that role.
For example, Prestige 1 on The Trapper shares Tier 1 of his unique perks with other Killers. You can then upgrade them on one Killer through its Bloodweb or continue The Trapper to Prestige 3 for shared Tier 3 access. The progression rework retains perks, items and add-ons when Prestiging.
Choose a progression goal before spending
The following is GetCheatBeacon’s planning advice:
- One main character: compare sharing Tier 1 first, then upgrading the perks you want on that main.
- Several characters: consider whether shared higher tiers would save repeated unlock work across the characters you actually play.
- A specific build: list its missing perks, their originating characters and their current tiers before distributing Bloodpoints.
Neither route is universally cheapest. Your existing unlocks and the perks appearing in each Bloodweb matter. Choose a small goal you can check in the loadout screen instead of spending across the roster without a plan.
Why did another Bloodweb perk disappear?
Behaviour’s Bloodweb explanation says buying a perk can cause the Entity to consume another perk where applicable. The Entity can also remove connected nodes. Inspect the route to the perk you want before purchasing another branch.
Our advice: prioritize a required perk before optional items. If your immediate goal is Prestige rather than collecting particular supplies, compare the available paths rather than assuming every high-rarity node is necessary.
How to unlock Auto Bloodweb
Update 9.0.0 added Auto Bloodweb after you Prestige any one character for the first time. It can advance toward a selected character level when you have enough Bloodpoints. If it is unavailable on a new account, check that first-Prestige requirement.
Use manual selection when a specific visible node matters to your plan. Before an automated spend, check the selected character and level target, then review the resulting unlocks.
Prestige rewards beyond perk tiers
Prestige is capped at 100. Behaviour’s core guide lists bloody cosmetics at levels 4–6 and perk charms at 7–9. Update 9.5.0 adds rewards at 25, 50, 75 and 100, with a progress view accessible by selecting the character’s Prestige level.
Inspect that character’s current reward track for the exact rewards. A cosmetic milestone is a different goal from unlocking a missing build perk.
Put the unlocks into a useful build
Read the current in-game perk description before equipping it, then use our perk build planning guide to connect the effect to a match goal. For rewards redemption, see Dead by Daylight codes and redemption. Find the full collection on the Dead by Daylight hub.
