Open NBA 2K27 controller inputs → Find each move in its own card, with platform and source labels. Platform rows cover PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC gamepad, Switch 2 two-stick controllers and reported PC keyboard bindings. Check each row’s verification label; remapped controls can differ.

Start with the current MyTEAM menu

2K confirms a redesigned Play tab, rotating multiplayer modes, Player XP, card discovery, new gem tiers and Player Card Parallels. Its unified Auction House specifically covers PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2; that statement does not include PC.

Level the cards you use

PlayStation’s official guide explains that Player Cards gain XP through play. Choose a lineup you want to learn, then review its progression instead of replacing every card after one poor game. Distinguish a player’s card progress from the separate objectives displayed in your menu.

Check an Exchange before committing

The official guide describes exchanging Player Cards other than Free Agents. Review the required cards and resulting reward before submitting a set. Compare the reward with the players you currently rely on, especially if the Exchange would remove a useful starter.

Build a lineup by jobs

  • A ball handler to initiate possessions.
  • Players who provide usable spacing.
  • A defender for the opponent’s main threat.
  • A rebounder or interior presence.
  • Bench options for the same jobs.

These are editorial roster priorities, not a current card tier list. A higher gem tier alone does not explain whether you can use a card’s animations and strengths comfortably.

Choose one objective

Read the entry requirements, timer and reward shown in the current game before choosing a mode. If a rotating event does not fit your lineup, work on another objective rather than buying several cards without a plan.

Set a collection budget

Compare the exact card or team improvement you want with the resources it costs. Keep enough flexibility for the next objective. This guide makes no promise that packs contain a particular player or that a purchase will return a profit.
