VALORANT Crosshair Guide: Profiles, Contrast & Placement Practice
Use VALORANT crosshair profiles and readable settings, then practise placement without treating a copied code as an aim upgrade.
VALORANT Crosshair Guide: Profiles, Contrast & Placement Practice
Make the Crosshair Readable Before Copying a Code
A crosshair should let you see both your aiming reference and the target. GetCheatBeacon recommends testing its contrast against several map backgrounds and at the resolution you actually use. A tiny crosshair that looks clean in a video may be hard to locate on your own display.
Import a profile through the game
Riot's Patch 4.05 introduced profile import and export under Settings, Crosshair. The documented import flow uses the downward-arrow profile icon, a pasted code and Import; export copies a generated code for sharing. Name the imported profile so you can distinguish it from your original settings.
Adjust one visual property at a time
Patch 5.04 documents custom colors using six-digit RGB hex values and separate horizontal and vertical line lengths. Treat those as visual preferences. This page does not provide an untested celebrity code or claim that a color changes weapon accuracy.
- Keep a known profile as your comparison.
- Change size, gap or contrast deliberately rather than changing everything together.
- Test the result against light and dark scenery.
- Return to the original if the new design obscures the target or disappears during movement.
Practise placement separately from settings
Choose a familiar route and deliberately aim where an opponent could appear rather than at the floor while moving. When reviewing a duel, distinguish a large correction caused by poor starting aim from a visibility problem with the crosshair itself. Constantly swapping profiles will not explain that distinction.
The practice routine is editorial advice, not a measured aim test. Read your current platform's interface if it differs from the dated PC patch description. See the agent-role guide for coordinating utility with the team instead of trying to solve every encounter through settings.
