Choose a Repeatable Focus for Ranked

Riot describes five recommended positions: Top, Jungle, Mid, Bot and Support. Choose a role and a manageable set of champions whose abilities you understand. GetCheatBeacon recommends familiarity as a way to make your own decisions easier to compare, not as a guarantee that one champion is always the best choice.

Set a decision goal rather than an LP promise

Use a target you can review: arriving prepared for an objective, avoiding an unnecessary fight while collecting resources, or recognizing when to return and spend gold. A match result contains many factors; a fixed promise of LP per session would not be justified by this guide.

Review one decisive sequence

1. Pick an avoidable loss of health, resources, position or objective access.
2. Pause before the decision, not only after the elimination.
3. List what you could actually see at that moment.
4. Choose one different action to test in the next similar situation.

The review is editorial advice. Do not pretend you knew a hidden opponent's exact location just because a replay later reveals it. Evaluate the choice using information available at the time.

Keep progression in the explanation

Riot's overview explains that experience develops the champion while gold buys items. Review whether repeated fights prevented you from reaching useful progression, rather than looking only at the scoreboard's eliminations. Equally, collecting resources without responding to the map can leave the team unable to act when needed.

Read current ranked rules in their own place

This page does not assert a permanent placement requirement, reset date, LP formula or decay threshold. Those are separate current-system questions and should be checked in Riot's current ranked documentation and the client. The purpose here is a practice and review routine you can use without inventing a numerical climbing forecast.
