Agree on the clan plan
Supercell separates Clan Wars into Preparation Day and Battle Day. Use the preparation period to agree how the clan will coordinate rather than leaving everyone to assume the same target rule. Confirm the live war timer instead of relying on an old article's duration.
Fill the requested defensive donations
The official preparation guide describes donated Clan Castle troops helping on defense. Check what teammates requested before donating. A filled request is more useful when the chosen troops match the intended defense and the current capacity permits them.
Review the war layout
Inspect the layout selected for war and discuss obvious exposure with a clanmate. Check important defensive areas and routes rather than copying a layout purely because it came from a successful screenshot. Your available defenses and opponents can differ.
Practice the intended army
Supercell recommends testing attacks through Friendly Challenges. Practice the entry, the support timing and the response when the first target does not fall as expected. A rehearsal should expose the part you cannot yet execute reliably.
Recheck the actual target on Battle Day
Do not treat early scouting as a complete final attack plan. Inspect the base and your available army before attacking, then communicate the result so the next player has useful information. These preparation steps concern regular Clan Wars; separate modes can use different participation and attack rules.
