Clash Royale Card Cycle: Track the Counter Before Repeating a Push
Use the standard Clash Royale card cycle to understand when a counter may return and whether a faster rotation is worth its Elixir cost.

Clash Royale Card Cycle: Track the Counter Before Repeating a Push
Understand the standard cycle
Supercell's 1v1 support guide describes playing four other cards before a used card returns to hand. Track your next cards rather than treating the deck as a random draw after each play. Check special card or mode rules before applying that baseline unchanged.
Notice the opponent's important answer
When the opponent uses the card that stopped your attack, remember it. Watch the cards played afterward and compare their progress through the rotation with your own. A second push is more promising when the relevant response is unavailable, but you still need to account for another possible defense.
Do not cycle without a purpose
A cheap card is still an Elixir commitment. Use it when it advances your plan or provides information without exposing the tower. Repeatedly spending just to reach a preferred card can leave too little Elixir to use it safely.
Read Evolution progress separately
Supercell explains that an Evolution-ready card is reached through that card's required plays and shows progress on the card. Check the current requirement for the specific card. This is related to rotation but is not the same as assuming every Evolution has one universal cycle count.
Review the actual timing
If a repeated attack failed, ask whether the counter had returned, a different answer was available or you attacked without enough support. A cycle advantage is an opportunity to evaluate, not a guarantee of damage. This page does not import turn-based Merge Tactics rules into standard battles.
