Honor of Kings Objectives: Prepare the Map Before Committing
Make the objective a team decision
Call what you want the group to accomplish and where teammates need to arrive. A ping followed by an immediate solo commitment gives distant allies little chance to help. The official position structure includes a Jungler and a Roamer, but every player should understand the intended conversion.
Prepare the nearby lane
Look at whether a lane needs attention before committing the group elsewhere. A temporary numbers advantage loses value if the team spends it wandering between targets. Decide whether a structure, safer farming space or a neutral objective is the useful next step.
Read the current map information
Use the objective labels, availability and descriptions shown in your match. Do not base a call on an old timer image or an assumed buff value. This guide deliberately avoids fixed spawn times and reward numbers that may change with a version or mode.
Account for the opponents you cannot see
Before starting, identify who could contest and which route they would use. A missing enemy is uncertainty, not proof that they are far away. Leave a route out and stop if your support is forced away before the group is ready.
Choose a worthwhile trade
When contesting is clearly too late or unsafe, assess what your remaining players can accomplish elsewhere. Communicate that trade so the team does not split into an unsupported contest and an unsupported push. Review whether the call began too late, lacked nearby lane pressure or ignored an opponent arrival.
