Set up each player’s controls

EA documents remappable actions per player, adjustable camera and aiming sensitivity, stick swapping and inversion options. Review your own settings before interpreting a partner’s displayed input as the button you should press.

Reduce repeated-input demands

Button-mashing prompts can use holds or automatic completion. Stick-spin and stick-wiggle prompts have assistance options too. GetCheatBeacon recommends testing the option that addresses the difficult motion rather than changing every input setting at once.

Improve visual and audio comfort

The documented settings include disabling camera shake, a persistent center dot, subtitle backgrounds, closed captions and separate audio sliders. These serve different needs: a caption option improves information access, while a camera option addresses how movement is presented.

Use progression assistance deliberately

EA documents reduced enemy damage and a skip-to-next-checkpoint option with confirmation. Skipping can miss the current section. Agree with your partner before using it, particularly if one of you wants to experience the full sequence.

A useful two-player adjustment process

  1. Identify the precise obstacle: an input motion, camera movement, unreadable information or combat difficulty.
  2. Change the relevant setting for the player who needs it.
  3. Try the same situation and discuss the result.
  4. Keep the improvement or restore the previous choice before testing another.

GetCheatBeacon advice: allow both players to explain what their side of the screen is asking them to do. Different viewpoints and abilities can make an instruction sound contradictory even when each player has a valid role.

Read section-specific prompts

Mio and Zoe gain different tools as the story moves between worlds. Check the controls shown for the present section instead of expecting a permanent fighter combo list. Official accessibility settings provide the documented assistance; this guide does not claim an undocumented cheat-code menu.
