Record choices when you reach them

GetCheatBeacon recommends noting the level name, visible route options and the route you select. If you return later, that record helps distinguish a new path from one you already explored.

Keep a separate note for optional areas rather than mixing them with the main route. A door you cannot currently reach and a branch you deliberately skipped are different problems. Recording why you left an area can save time on a later visit.
