Ocarina of Time Switch 2: ZELDA NOTES, amiibo & Bonuses
What ZELDA NOTES adds
ZELDA NOTES is a game-specific service within the Nintendo Switch App on a compatible smart device. Nintendo announces support for the new Ocarina of Time, with tools intended to accompany the adventure rather than replace the console game.
- Today’s Record: a chronological view of daily accomplishments and statistics.
- Gossip Quest: find an in-game location using a hint image and earn points toward ocarina music scores.
- Play Ocarina: perform on the smart-device touchscreen, follow a guide, listen to playback or share created scores using QR codes.
- Ocarina of Time Quiz: more than 2,000 questions, with a daily attempt and an announced option to spend earned rupees for more tries.
Account and device checks
Nintendo lists a Nintendo Account, a compatible smart device and persistent internet for the companion service; data charges may apply. Some features have additional service conditions. Check the current app and regional requirements before assuming an older phone or an offline setup supports everything.
Existing amiibo and the new figures
Nintendo says existing Legend of Zelda series amiibo provide useful in-game extras. New Young Link and Young Zelda figures, announced for 2027, unlock masks with a retro graphical style. Those new figures are not a November 2026 launch requirement, and the announcement does not establish every reward or an unlimited reward loop.
Digital wallpaper promotion
The current U.S. product page lists an early digital-purchase wallpaper bonus for purchases made before November 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. It is delivered through a My Nintendo link sent to the account email after the promotion period. A digital wallpaper is a promotional item, not an in-game cheat code or an entitlement automatically attached to every physical copy.
Keep purchase and gameplay rewards separate
Before buying an accessory or edition, confirm the exact product, eligibility period and regional terms. The game, themed hardware, amiibo figures and electronic ocarina accessories are separate listings. For ordinary story progression, follow the game's equipment and learned-melody requirements.
