Modern Warfare 4 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. A diagram for Modern Warfare III, the 2019 Modern Warfare or Black Ops is not evidence of this game's default bindings. Exact release-default button and keyboard tables were not established by the publisher pages reviewed for this guide.
Use the controls and input settings in your installed game to check your active device, preset and any remapping. Keep a note or screenshot of your current layout before changing multiple options. Confirm the action prompts in a practice environment before carrying a familiar older layout into a competitive match.

- Joy-Con 2 mouse input: mouse-style aiming is an announced option.
- Gyro: movement of the controller can provide fine aiming adjustments, including alongside stick aiming.
- Handheld: Campaign, Multiplayer and DMZ are described for the portable version.
These confirmations do not establish the exact button assigned to every action. They also do not establish support for an arbitrary USB keyboard or mouse on Switch 2.
Compare your setup consistently

The official movement overview describes mantling control and fluid traversal. Those mechanics do not imply that a beta preset or another game's binding table is still correct. On PC, compare input settings with performance and visibility settings; a change to frame rate or image clarity can affect how aiming feels even when a keybind is unchanged.
