The Sims 4 CAS Full Edit Guide: Enable cas.fulleditmode & Edit a Sim
Enable full Create-a-Sim editing
EA’s player guide gives this sequence: enter testingcheats true, then cas.fulleditmode. It also describes Shift-clicking Sims and objects for interaction cheats.
- Load the household you intend to edit.
- Open the console using the platform controls guide.
- Submit the two commands separately, in that order.
- Use the intended Sim’s CAS editing interaction.
- Review the edit before accepting it and returning to the household.
Plan the edit first
Our recommendation is to make a separate save before a substantial character change. Write down which Sim and which details you intend to change. This makes it easier to notice an unintended edit when several household members appear together.
If editing remains limited
Return to the household and review the input sequence. Confirm that the command was entered before the editing session, and that you chose the correct Sim. Test one intended change first instead of combining several unrelated adjustments.
After the edit
Inspect the Sim in normal play and compare the result with your plan. Keep the earlier save until you are satisfied. Do not assume every missing option is caused by the cheat: installed content and the current interface should be checked separately.
