GTA VI Characters Guide: Jason, Lucia and Rockstar's Confirmed Cast
Rockstar Games has now revealed substantially more about Grand Theft Auto VI than was available when the first trailer appeared. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos remain at the center of the story, but Rockstar has also introduced several people connected to Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.
Jason Duval
Rockstar identifies Jason Duval as one of GTA VI's two central characters.
His official profile says he grew up around criminals and grifters, later spent time in the Army and eventually found himself in the Leonida Keys working around local drug runners.
Jason wants an easier life, but his relationship with Lucia and the criminal world around them keeps pulling him toward greater risk.
Lucia Caminos
Lucia Caminos is the other central character in GTA VI.
Rockstar states that Lucia learned to fight from her father at a young age and later served time in the Leonida Penitentiary after fighting for her family.
After leaving prison, Lucia is determined to improve her circumstances and sees her relationship with Jason as part of a possible path forward.
Jason and Lucia's Story
Rockstar's official story description says Jason and Lucia become caught in a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida after what was supposed to be an easy score goes wrong.
The pair are forced to rely on each other as the situation becomes increasingly dangerous.
Cal Hampton
Cal Hampton is one of Jason's friends and is also associated with Brian Heder.
Rockstar portrays Cal as deeply interested in conspiracy theories and more comfortable observing events from home than getting directly involved.
Boobie Ike
Boobie Ike is described by Rockstar as a Vice City figure who turned his past in the streets into legitimate businesses.
His interests include:
- Real estate.
- A strip club.
- A recording studio.
Boobie is also connected to aspiring music executive Dre'Quan Priest.
Dre'Quan Priest
Dre'Quan Priest is focused on the music business.
Rockstar says he spent time hustling to make ends meet while aiming to break into music, eventually becoming involved with Only Raw Records.
Real Dimez
Real Dimez consists of Bae-Luxe and Roxy.
Rockstar describes the pair as longtime friends who turned street experience, music and social-media attention into a developing rap career.
They are connected to Dre'Quan and Only Raw Records.
Raul Bautista
Raul Bautista is an experienced bank robber.
Rockstar describes him as confident, charming and willing to take significant risks while assembling people capable of handling high-stakes scores.
Brian Heder
Brian Heder is connected to Jason's life in the Leonida Keys.
Rockstar describes Brian as an old-school smuggler who continues operating from his boat yard.
Jason is living at one of Brian's properties while helping him with local criminal work.
How the Characters Connect
The officially revealed cast already shows several overlapping parts of Leonida's criminal and cultural world:
- Jason and Lucia anchor the central story.
- Brian connects Jason to the Keys and local criminal activity.
- Cal is connected to Jason and Brian.
- Boobie and Dre'Quan connect the story to Vice City's music business.
- Real Dimez are tied to that music scene.
- Raul represents a more professional robbery network.
What Rockstar Has Not Confirmed
Rockstar has not published every story relationship, mission outcome or playable-character detail.
Until the game launches, avoid treating trailer analysis, leaked material or fan theories as confirmed narrative information.
Release Date
Rockstar currently lists Grand Theft Auto VI for release on November 19, 2026.
The announced platforms are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
GTA VI is no longer defined only by Jason and Lucia. Rockstar has officially introduced a wider Leonida cast spanning crime, music, smuggling and robbery, giving a clearer picture of the people who will shape Jason and Lucia's story without requiring speculation about unrevealed missions or plot twists.
