GTA VI Launch Trailer: Release Date, Story & Official Details
The latest official GTA VI trailer
Rockstar released the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer on October 15, 2026. Its official video page lists a running time of 1 minute 29 seconds. This is a new entry in the media collection, separate from Trailer 1, Trailer 2 and the August Extended Look.
Release date and platforms
Rockstar continues to schedule Grand Theft Auto VI for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. These are the platforms on its current announcement page. A PC, PS4 or Xbox One version is not established by that listing.
Jason, Lucia and Leonida
The official premise follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos after an easy score goes wrong and draws them into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida. Vice City is part of that wider state. Rockstar's character and location pages remain the primary references for names and biographies; a new trailer does not automatically confirm every fan theory about an activity or mission.
Music featured with the trailer
The launch-trailer page introduces the standalone single Flower in a Hurricane from Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar's music page now lists nine album singles and six featured radio previews. Those preview selections are not a complete inventory of in-game radio.

Prepare for launch
Digital preload is scheduled for local midnight on November 12. Check your platform, edition and account region before buying, and distinguish a boxed download code from a disc. No verified cheat list or complete final button map has been added from trailer interpretation.
