Star Wars: Galactic Racer Guide: Modes, Campaign & First Runs
Start with the correct game
Star Wars: Galactic Racer launched on October 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. This guide concerns Fuse Games' new racer, not Episode I: Racer or Racer Revenge.
Choose a mode
Lucasfilm's launch article identifies Campaign, Scenario and Arcade modes. The campaign follows Shade and a rivalry with Kestar Bool. Its runs-based structure lets you choose events while advancing through the racing league.
Understand a campaign tour
The official launch overview explains that repeated crashes can end a tour. You then rebuild and begin another attempt; some perks and unlocks carry forward. Do not assume every part or decision survives a failed run. Read the current in-game explanation for the specific reward you earned.
Plan your first attempts
GetCheatBeacon recommends treating an early tour as a route-learning session. Note which circuit caused trouble, where you crashed, and whether a branching route was easier to navigate. Compare one vehicle change at a time on a familiar event. These are editorial practice suggestions, not a tested fastest progression route.
Keep platform details together
Check the store listing for your exact hardware before buying. A PC announcement does not establish requirements for a particular computer, and a platform list does not establish cross-play. Use the official site for purchase links and current technical information.

Offline play and online modes
The developer confirms offline Campaign, Arcade and Scenarios. PC needs an internet connection for first-launch authentication. Multiplayer supports crossplay, with up to 12 speeder racers or eight podracers. There is no split-screen mode. The current party limit is three; a planned increase to six is not a released feature.
The league objective
Official league lore describes races across planetary locations, with a backer supporting a racer. Progress through tours toward the champion challenge on Derven Acos. Campaign choices and upgrades can shape a run, but a complete mission-by-mission route and every unlock requirement have not been verified.
