Star Wars: Galactic Racer Vehicle Guide: Parts, Classes & Routes
Choose a repulsorcraft for your racing style
The official game overview describes several repulsorcraft classes with different handling and tactical strengths. It also describes vehicle customization, unlockable abilities and takedowns. This page does not assign unsourced numerical stats or declare one class best.
Visit Hibi's workshop
Lucasfilm's launch coverage identifies Hibi as Shade's mechanic. Her workshop operates from planetary paddocks, where you can fit parts earned through runs or purchased from her. Parts provide stat changes and abilities that affect a setup.
Compare parts deliberately
- Read the part's displayed effect and any requirement.
- Record the current setup before replacing it.
- Repeat a circuit you know.
- Compare handling, consistency and the situations where the ability helps.
- Keep the change only if it suits the problem you were trying to solve.
This checklist is GetCheatBeacon editorial advice. It is not an independently tested build, and a visually different livery alone is not evidence of a performance boost.
Learn the circuit as well as the vehicle
The official overview highlights branching routes and risk-versus-reward decisions across planetary environments. GetCheatBeacon recommends learning a reliable route before attempting a riskier branch. Record where the alternate route diverges and compare repeated attempts; one successful run is not enough to establish that it is consistently faster.
Check updates before copying a setup
Keep the game version and mode with any shared build. Part behaviour and availability should be checked in the current game. Exact unlock requirements, ability inputs and full vehicle statistics need separate verification before being listed as reference data.

The four vehicle classes
- Landspeeders: durable and stable, with drift-based cornering.
- Speeder bikes: agile but fragile. Kinetic Burst stores braking energy for acceleration.
- Skim speeders: reward sustained momentum and Knife Edge banking.
- Podracers: race in their own events. Airbraking manages speed for corners.
Important customization exception
The developer explicitly confirms that podracers are not customizable. Workshop parts and build advice should not be presented as applying to all four classes. Do not treat visual liveries as performance upgrades.
