Cyberpunk 2077 Minor Arcana Tarot: Quest Unlock & Checklist
Announcement-stage guide, checked October 21, 2026. Check the Update 2.5 rollout overview and your installed game version before using the new features.
What is the new tarot activity?
Update 2.5 announces 12 Minor Arcana cards. Scanning one activates an extension of Fool on the Hill; the tarot menu separates the two Arcana sets. Completing the new collection earns a reward.
Keep the collections separate
When checking progress, read which section of the tarot menu you are viewing. A screenshot or count from an older collection is not evidence that you have completed the newly announced activity. Use the collection displayed by the installed game as the reference for your current playthrough.
Make a useful exploration checklist
- Confirm Update 2.5 is installed on the edition you use.
- Check the tarot menu and the current journal.
- When you find and scan a new card, record its displayed name and the surrounding area.
- Review the updated journal before planning the next trip.
- Compare your notes with the collection's own progress display.
Recording the card name and nearby landmarks is more useful than recording only a vague district. It helps distinguish an already visited location from a genuinely new discovery when returning after another activity.
What the announcement does not establish
The publisher has not supplied a complete card-by-card route, exact coordinates or the reward's identity in the notes used for this guide. This page therefore covers the announced unlock and tracking process. It does not present invented map pins or a guessed reward as a completed walkthrough.
Explore without losing your place
Before leaving a district, compare the current journal and tarot section with your own notes. If you switch playthroughs, start a separate checklist so discoveries on one save do not get mixed into another. Use the game's displayed information to settle a mismatch rather than assuming that a remembered visit counted as a scan.
If you are combining collection hunting with the new quests, group nearby activities only after checking the game's actual directions. An efficient personal route can be useful, but it should not be described as an official required order.
