When is Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 coming?
CD PROJEKT RED announced the free Edgerunners 2 update for October 22, 2026 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The patch notes include Mac editions sold through Steam, GOG and Epic in that rollout. Nintendo Switch 2 and the Mac App Store edition follow in the days afterward. An announcement date is not confirmation that a particular storefront has delivered the patch.
Choose the feature you want to use

Cosmetics, clothing and music
The announced clothing vendors are: Maxiwear in Heywood, Arroyo and Little China; Jinguji in City Center; NetWatch in Kabuki and Japantown; IconAmerica in Pacifica, the Badlands and Northside. Another outfit arrives later. NUS Infiltrator clothing is listed for Kabuki and Japantown. Four Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech TWINTONE skins are tied to Twitch Drops; check the live campaign before planning a claim.
Other additions include previously NPC-only hairstyles with body-type restrictions, HKGN 102.0 FM radio, trading-card Photo Mode frames and dual-wield Photo Mode poses.
Settings and technical changes
The notes list console FOV adjustment, saves grouped by playthrough, apartment/vehicle stash filters, HDR improvements and PS5 Pro/ray-tracing optimizations. PC changes include DLSS 4.5, revised FSR choices and an Anti-Lag 2 toggle. Mac gets MetalFX Frame Interpolation. Compatible Samsung Odyssey 3D monitors receive glasses-free 3D support with a comfort setting. Hardware-specific features require compatible equipment; this list is not a performance benchmark.
Fixes worth checking after updating
CDPR lists fixes for Switch 2 storage-related saving errors, PS5 HDR adjustment, the Delamain obstruction in Things Done Changed, Film Grain, scanning/tagging inputs that also trigger crouching, and missing third-person camera controller settings.
A practical update checklist
- Confirm the installed version and storefront rather than relying on the headline date.
- Keep an identifiable pre-update save before experimenting.
- Read the console mod/save restriction before enabling a mod.
- Check your build and quest prerequisites on the linked pages.
- Compare your usual settings after patching; only enable hardware options your system offers.
