Resident Evil Requiem: Grace Crafting & Leon Combat Guide
Grace: make each resource solve a problem
Grace's survival systems include blood-based crafting for ammunition, items and injectors. Limited carrying space means that picking up an item and using an item are separate decisions. Before spending supplies, identify what blocks your route and whether fighting actually helps you reach the next objective.
A practical exploration routine
- Check the map and choose a specific destination.
- Look for a route that keeps an escape path open.
- Observe the enemies before drawing their attention.
- Use the supplies needed to reach the objective.
- Review your inventory again before entering an unfamiliar area.
This routine is our recommendation, rather than a required solution. Avoid treating every room as a fight that must be won. When one route repeatedly costs more resources than it returns, reconsider the route and your immediate goal.
Leon: learn the close-range toolkit
Official gameplay material shows Leon using firearms, melee attacks, a hatchet, parries and weapons taken from enemies. His equipment can be organized in an attaché case, and weapons support customizable parts. Xbox's preview also describes sharpening the hatchet and using it to open certain cabinets.
Practice before a difficult encounter
Our suggested sequence is to rehearse aiming, weapon switching, healing and turning first. Then practice the melee-ready action with enough space to retreat. Judge a failed encounter by what happened: losing sight of an enemy, spending too long in inventory and missing a prompt call for different adjustments.
Avoid assuming that a tactic transfers unchanged between characters. Leon's more aggressive kit does not remove the need to manage space, and Grace's crafting does not make her supplies unlimited. Keep a recovery option available before taking a risk.
