Resident Evil Requiem: Unlock Leon Must Die Forever
Access the free extra mode, understand enhancer runs and check later balance changes.
Resident Evil Requiem: Unlock Leon Must Die Forever
How to unlock the extra mode
Complete Resident Evil Requiem's main story and install the update that includes Leon Must Die Forever. Capcom says the mode unlocks automatically after story completion. It is a free addition, rather than a reason to buy the Deluxe Kit.
What changes from the campaign?
The mode puts Leon through timed combat stages, introduces mode-specific enhancer abilities and includes several difficulty levels. Your objective is to reach and defeat the boss before time runs out. The main story and this extra mode have different pacing, so approach your first attempt as a chance to learn the route.
A first-run plan
- Confirm your story-clear save is available.
- Install pending game updates before comparing strategies.
- Start with the difficulty you can learn comfortably.
- Learn the available routes and where you lose time.
- Test one enhancer combination at a time.
- After a failed run, choose one specific adjustment for the next attempt.
That is our suggested practice routine. It does not guarantee a clear or assume that every enhancer is available at the start.
Why older strategies can differ
Capcom's June update reduced the difficulty of Forever Rank 1 and Rank 2 and changed several enhancer skills. If an early video describes a different experience, check when it was recorded. A strategy tied to an old balance version may need adjustment on the current build.
Other post-launch additions
Photo Mode was added in a separate update and is accessible from the pause menu. The Steam update history also records PC controller changes and fixes. Keep the game updated before troubleshooting a feature that an older article says is missing.
